Removal Procedure

- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge pipe from the chassis EVAP purge pipe.
- Disconnect the fuel tank EVAP pipe from the EVAP canister.
- Disconnect the EVAP vent valve pipe from the EVAP canister.
- Remove the EVAP canister bracket bolt.
- Remove the EVAP canister.
- Remove the EVAP pipe from the EVAP canister, and retaining clip.
- Remove the EVAP canister from the bracket.
