Installation Procedure

- Install the rear fuel line bundle.
- Install the rear fuel line bundle clip nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
- Remove the caps from the fuel and balance lines at the fuel tank.
- Connect the fuel feed and pressure balance lines to the rear tank. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Metal Collar) .
- Remove the caps from the fuel and balance lines at the fuel tank.
- Connect the fuel feed and pressure balance lines to the front tank. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Metal Collar) .
- Install the fuel fill cap.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Single Battery) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Auxiliary Battery) in Engine Electrical.
- Perform the following procedure in order to inspect for leaks.
- Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF, for 2 seconds.
- Turn the ignition OFF for 10 seconds.
- Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF.
- Inspect for fuel leaks.
