Shift Cable Bracket: Removal

Apply the parking brake. Place the transmission into Neutral. Raise the vehicle. Disconnect the shift cable from the shift lever and the bracket (2). Remove the bolts (1) securing the shift cable bracket (2) to the transmission. See Figure. Remove the shift cable bracket from the vehicle.
