Filler Tube (4L60-E): Installation

  1. Install a new filler tube seal into the transmission case. Install the filler tube into the seal. See Fig 1.
  2. Install the bolt securing the filler tube bracket to the transmission and tighten to Specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the bolt securing the filler tube bracket to the engine and tighten to specification See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Lower the vehicle. Install the transmission fluid level indicator. Fill transmission with appropriate fluid to proper level. See LUBRICATION .
