Extension Housing Rear Oil Seal (4L60-E): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the propeller shaft. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in appropriate DRIVE SHAFTS & UNIVERSAL JOINTS article in DRIVE AXLES. Remove the rear extension oil seal. See Figure.
