Installation Procedure

  1. Install a NEW shift lever insulator.

  2. Install the shift lever seal and lever.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the shift lever bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  4. Install the boot.
  5. Install the control lever and boot. Refer to Control Lever and/or Boot Replacement .
