Oil Cooler Hose/Pipes (4T65-E): Installation

  1. Install the transaxle oil cooler hoses into the vehicle. Push the transaxle oil cooler hoses (1, 2) into the radiator quick connect fittings, until a "CLICK" is heard. See Figure .
  2. Tug gently on the cooler hoses to ensure proper retention. Slide the white plastic covers over the transaxle oil cooler hose quick connections.
  3. Push the transaxle oil cooler hoses into the transaxle quick connect fittings, until a "CLICK" is heard. See Figure . Tug gently on the cooler hoses to ensure proper retention.
  4. Slide the white plastic covers over the transaxle oil cooler hose quick connections. Install the transaxle oil cooler hose retainer onto the transaxle. See Figure .
  5. Lower the vehicle. Fill transaxle with appropriate fluid to proper level. See LUBRICATION  . Inspect for fluid leaks.
