Manual Shaft & Seal (4T80-E): Installation

Install the manual shaft seal (20). See Figure . Install the manual shaft (16) through the top of the bell housing. Install the detent lever and roller assembly. See DETENT LEVER & ROLLER ASSEMBLY (4T80-E)  . Install the manual shaft nut by hand. Tighten the manual shaft lever nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
