Installation Procedure

Install the seat belt retractor assembly to the vehicle.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the bolt that retains the rear seat belt retractor assembly to the vehicle.
Tighten

Tighten the seat belt retractor assembly bolt to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).
Guide the seat belt through the opening in the body side trim panel.

Install the body side trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT-BODY SIDE (STANDARD CAB PICKUP) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT-BODY SIDE (EXTENDED CAB PICKUP) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT-BODY SIDE (2-DOOR UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT-BODY SIDE (4-DOOR UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT-BODY SIDE (CREW CAB) in Interior Trim.
Install the upper seat belt anchor plate and bolt to the vehicle.
Tighten

Tighten the upper seat belt anchor plate bolt to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).

Install the upper seat belt anchor bolt cover.

Install the lower seat belt anchor plate to the rear seat bolt.
Install the rear seat assembly. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT-REAR (2-DOOR UTILITY) or SEAT REPLACEMENT-REAR (4-DOOR UTILITY) or SEAR REPLACEMENT - REAR (CREW CAB) in Seats.
