Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Sonoma, 2003 GMC Jimmy, 2003 Chevrolet S10 Pickup, and 2003 Chevrolet Blazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the seat bottom pad to the seat bottom.
  2. Install the seat bottom cover over the pad.
  3. Engage the J-strips to the seat bottom frame.
  4. Install the seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - Front (Bench Seat)  or SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - Front (Bucket Seat) .
  5. Install the seat back release lever, if equipped.

    Refer to SEAT BACK RECLINER HANDLE REPLACEMENT - Front .

  6. Install the manual lumbar knob lever, if equipped.

    Refer to LUMBAR SUPPORT KNOB REPLACEMENT .

  7. Install the seat to the vehicle. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - Bench .
