Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Sonoma, 2003 GMC Jimmy, 2003 Chevrolet S10 Pickup, and 2003 Chevrolet Blazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The seat adjuster switch is supplied a reference circuit by the memory seat module. When a seat adjuster switch is pressed the circuit is closed and the reference circuit is applied to ground. Closing the circuit to the reference circuit pulls the signal circuit low indicating to the memory seat module the switch status is now active.
