Auxiliary Oil Cooler Hose/Pipes & Fittings: Removal

- Raise the vehicle. Pull the plastic cap back from the quick connect fitting. Remove the cooling lines from the clips. Remove the 2 retaining rings securing the 2 cooling lines to the transmission. See Figure .
- Using a bent tip screwdriver, pull on the open ends of the retaining ring in order to rotate the retaining ring around the quick connect fitting until the retaining ring is out of the fitting. See Figure . Discard the retaining ring.
- Pull the cooling line straight out from the quick connect fitting. See Figure . Repeat this procedure to remove all the remaining cooling lines from quick connect fittings.
- For both vehicles with and without auxiliary cooling, remove the cooling lines from the radiator. See Figure .
- Remove the oil cooling lines from the auxiliary oil cooler. See Figure .
