Installation Procedure

Install the transmission mount to the vehicle.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the transmission mount to the transmission or transfer case adapter mounting bolts (1).
Tighten
- For vehicles equipped with 2.2L, tighten the bolts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
- For vehicles equipped with 4.3L, tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

Lower the transmission.
Install the transmission mount to the transmission support retaining nut or nuts.
Tighten

Tighten the nut or nuts to 57 N.m (42 lb ft).
Remove the transmission jack.
Lower the vehicle.
