Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM in Engine Cooling.
  2. Release the outlet heater hose clamp using the J 38185  at the heater core.
  3. Remove the outlet heater hose from the heater core.

  4. Release the heater outlet hose clamp using the J 38185  at the water pump.
  5. Remove the heater outlet hose from the water pump.

  6. Remove the heater outlet hose bracket bolt.
  7. Remove the outlet heater hose from the vehicle.
