Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the heater/vent module. Refer to HEATER/VENT MODULE REPLACEMENT .
  2. Remove screws in order to split the HVAC module in half.
  3. Disconnect the air temperature electrical actuator.
  4. Remove the air temperature actuator screws.
  5. Remove the air temperature actuator.
  6. Remove the vacuum harness from the mode actuator.
  7. Remove the mode actuator rod retaining clip.
  8. Remove the mode actuator rod from the mode door lever.
  9. Remove the mode actuator.

  10. Remove the air temperature door (1) from the lower module half.
