Installation Procedure

  1. Install the oil level indicator tube and seal.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the oil level indicator tube bracket and nut on the exhaust manifold stud.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nut to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  3. Install the oil level indicator tube to heater hose pipe bracket bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Install the oil level indicator.
