Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the energy absorber to the rear fascia.
  2. Install the rear parking assist object sensor to the rear bumper fascia. Refer to REAR OBJECT SENSOR REPLACEMENT .
  3. Partially install the rear bumper fascia.
  4. Connect the rear parking assist electrical connector.

  5. Position the rear bumper fascia to the vehicle.
  6. Engage the ball stud on each side of the rear bumper fascia.

  7. Starting at the center hole, install the push-in retainers to the lower rear bumper fascia.
  8. Install the push-in retainers to the rear bumper fascia upper tabs.

  9. Install the screws to the rear bumper fascia at the inboard side of the rear quarter panel.
  10. Close the endgate.
