Test Description

The numbers listed below refer to step numbers in the diagnostic procedure:

  1. 3

    This step tests ignition voltage.

  2. 4

    This step tests for current 1st gear ratio.

  3. 5

    This step tests speed sensor readings.

  4. 6

    This step tests for clutch slippage in 1st gear shown by turbine speed not remaining at zero.

  5. 7

    This step checks for evidence of clutch failure.
