The numbers listed below refer to step numbers in the diagnostic procedure:

  1. 4

    This step tests 5-volt reference voltage.

  2. 5

    This step tests for an erratic temperature signal.

  3. 6

    This step tests the internal wiring harness for opens or shorts.

  4. 7

    This step tests the external wiring harness for opens or shorts.

  5. 9

    This step tests the resistance of the TFT sensor.
