Blank PRNDL
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Sierra, 2002 GMC Cab & Chassis Sierra, 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, and 2002 Chevrolet Cab & Chassis Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Conditions which may cause a blank PRNDL are as follows:
- The PRNDL display may be blank due to failure of PNP switch circuits "A", "B", "C", or "P", or when the PNP switch is out-of-adjustment or damaged.
- The transmission will command the most appropriate gear range based on Reverse pressure switch and the remaining PNP switch inputs.
