Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the rear split bench seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR 50-50 SPLIT  .
  2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - REAR (SPLIT BENCH)  or SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - REAR (BUCKET)  .

    Important:  Remove the rear seat back cushion cover and pad as one piece, if replacing the front seat back frame only.

  3. Remove the rear seat back cushion cover. Refer to SEAT BACK COVER REPLACEMENT - REAR (BUCKET)  or SEAT BACK COVER REPLACEMENT - REAR (SPLIT BENCH)  .
  4. Remove the rear seat back pad from the rear seat back frame. Refer to SEAT BACK PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR (BUCKET)  or SEAT BACK PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR (SPLIT BENCH)  .
