Removal Procedure

  1. Open the front door.
  2. A thin, plastic flat-bladed tool may be used between the molding and the door to help release the retainers.

    Pull the upper edge of the front door body side molding out, in order to release the retainers.

  3. Remove the front door body side molding from the door.

  4. Drill a small hole into the center of the center retainer pins of the support retainer.

  5. Install a small screw into the hole in the center retainer pin.

  6. Remove the center retainer pin using small pliers and pulling out the center retainer pin.

  7. Remove the front door body side molding support from the door.
