Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Yukon XL, 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the following parts:
    • The TCC valve spring
    • The TCC valve
    • The valve bore plug

  2. Install the valve bore plug retainer ring (1).
  3. Install the transmission filter. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID/FILTER REPLACEMENT  .
