Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the third pillar trim. Refer to TRIM REPLACEMENT - THIRD PILLAR (TAHOE/YUKON/ESCALADE/SUBURBAN) or TRIM REPLACEMENT - THIRD PILLAR (AVALANCHE/ESCALADE EXT) in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the hinges from the mid gate. Refer to HINGE REPLACEMENT - REMOVABLE REAR PANEL - MID GATE  .
  3. Remove the rear floor trim plate (1) from the vehicle.
