Removal Procedure

  1. Ensure that the headlamp switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Remove the rear compartment cover assembly.
  3. Fig 1: Box Bridge Center Screws

  4. Remove the cargo box bridge center screws (1,2).
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  6. Remove the panel assembly from the vehicle.
  7. Remove the high mount stop lamp from the cargo bridge center. Refer to HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (UTILITIES) or HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (ESCALADE) or HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (ESCALADE EXT) or HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (AVALANCHE)
