Removal Procedure

  1. Open the rear door or hatch.
  2. On vehicles with rear doors, remove the rear compartment opening weatherstrip. Refer to WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT - REAR COMPARTMENT OPENING .
  3. Remove the screw that retains the upper quarter of the applique.
  4. Firmly grab the applique and pull the panel out from the body.
