Speed Compensated Volume (SCV)
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Safari and 2002 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- In order to use the SCV, adjust the volume to the listening level you want and move the control ring behind the PWR-VOL knob to adjust the SCV.
- The volume level automatically adjusts to compensate for road and wind noise as you drive.
- As you drive, the volume level will change in order to compensate for the noise present at any particular speed.
- Each detent on the SCV allows for more compensation at a faster rate.
