Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Safari and 2002 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the wiper motor to the liftgate with the 2 bolts. Tighten the bolts to 7.0 N.m (62 lb in).
  2. Install the seal, the spacer, and the nut. Tighten the nut to 6.0 N.m (53 lb in).
  3. Install the wiper arm and blade.
  4. Connect the wiper motor electrical connector.
  5. Install the liftgate garnish molding.
