Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Safari and 2002 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the washer hose from the wiper arm.

    Important:  Before removing one or both of the arm and blade assemblies, use a suitable marker on the windshield to indicate the proper part position and to aid in reinstallation.

  2. Lift the wiper arm assembly from the windshield, then pull the retaining latch.
  3. Remove the arm assembly from the transmission drive shaft.
