Installation Procedure

  1. Install the thermostat.
  2. Install the coolant outlet.
  3. Install the bolt and the bolt/stud. Tighten the bolt and the bolt/stud to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  4. Install the ground lead to the bolt/stud.
  5. Install the air cleaner assembly.
  6. Refill the coolant. Refer to Draining & Filling Cooling System .
  7. Start the engine. After the engine reaches normal operating temperature, check for coolant leaks.
