Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the coolant from the radiator to a level below the hose being removed. Refer to Draining & Filling Cooling System .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
  3. Reposition the radiator hose clamp.
  4. Remove the inlet hose from the radiator.
  5. Reposition the clamp from the thermostat housing.
  6. Remove the inlet hose from the thermostat housing.
