Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle.
  2. Loosen the equalizer.
  3. Remove the rear cable from the equalizer.
  4. Remove the brake drum and the shoe assembly. Refer to REAR BRAKE SHOES .
  5. Depress the cable-retaining fingers and remove the cable from the backing plate.
  6. Remove the rear cable from the vehicle.
