Removal Procedure

- Raise the vehicle.
- Clean all dirt and foreign material from the brake hoses and brake pipe fitting.
Important: Install a rubber cap or plug to the exposed brake pipe fitting ends in order to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Use a backup wrench on the hose fitting, disconnect the brake pipe fittings from the junction block, then cap or plug the brake pipe fitting ends. Do not bend the brake pipe or the bracket.
- Disconnect the brake pipe fitting (9).
- Remove the brake hose retaining clip (2).
- Remove the junction block bolt (5).
- Remove the rear brake hose (4).
