Solenoids & Solenoid Valves

SOLENOIDS & SOLENOID VALVES LOCATION

Component Location
A/T Shift Lock Control Solenoid On lower part of steering column.
Electronic Variable Orifice (EVO) Solenoid On power steering pump fluid fittings.
Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid (4.3L VIN W) On top right rear of engine. See Figure.
Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid (4.8L VIN V) On top right rear of engine. See Figure.
Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid (5.3L VIN T) On top right rear of engine. See Figure.
Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid (6.0L VIN U) On top right rear of engine. See Figure.
Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid (8.1L VIN G) On top right rear of engine.
Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Vent Solenoid On right front side of fuel tank.
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve (4.8L VIN V) On top right front of engine.
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve (5.3L VIN T) On top right front of engine.
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve (6.0L VIN U) On top right front of engine.
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve (8.1L VIN G) On top rear center of engine. See Figure.
Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve (4.8L VIN V) Attached to top of throttle body. See Figure.
Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve (5.3L VIN T) Attached to top of throttle body. See Figure.
Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve (6.0L VIN U) Attached to top of throttle body. See Figure.
Secondary Air Injection Reaction Pump Shutoff Valve On right rear of engine compartment.
Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Solenoid On right rear of engine compartment.
