Inspecting oil lines and clamps

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Mazda 3. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Be sure to inspect the lines (hoses/pipes) for cuts, crimps (pinched), cracks or any other damage before reusing them.
    • If there is any malfunction, replace lines and clamps.
CAUTION:
  • Always use new clamps when replacing hoses.
