Installation Procedure

  1. Install the spring shackle to the frame.
  2. Install the spring shackle mounting bolt.
  3. Install the spring shackle mounting nut. Tighten the spring shackle mounting nut to 140 N.m (103 lb ft).
  4. Raise the rear axle.
  5. Install the lower shock absorber mounting bolt and nut. Tighten the lower shock absorber mounting nut to 107 N.m (79 lb ft).
  6. Install the leaf spring to spring shackle mounting bolt and nut. Tighten the leaf spring to spring shackle mounting nut to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
  7. Remove the rear axle support.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
