Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shock absorber to the vehicle.
  2. Install the shock absorber lower mounting bolt, the nut, and the parking brake bracket (right side).
  3. Install the shock absorber lower mounting bolt and the nut (left side).
  4. Install the shock absorber upper mounting nut. Tighten the shock absorber upper and lower mounting nuts to 107 N.m (79 lb ft).
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Dispose of the shock absorber. Refer to Shock Absorber Disposal .
