Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Safari and 2002 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the wheel hub and bearing.
  2. Install the wheel speed sensor to the wheel hub and bearing.
  3. Install the wheel speed sensor mounting bolt to the wheel hub and bearing.
  4. Install the splash shield.
  5. Install the wheel hub and bearing mounting bolts. Tighten the wheel hub and bearing mounting bolts to 90 N.m (66 lb ft).
  6. Install the wheel drive shaft washer and the nut. Tighten the wheel drive shaft nut to 200 N.m (147 lb ft).
  7. Install the brake rotor. Refer to FRONT BRAKE ROTOR .
  8. Install the tire and wheel.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
