Removal Procedure

- Raise the vehicle.
- Remove the tire and wheel.
- Remove the idler arm mounting bolts.
- Disconnect the idler arms from the frame. Move the steering linkage to gain access to the stabilizer shaft bracket mounting bolts.
- Remove the stabilizer shaft links. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (RWD) or Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (AWD) .
- Remove the stabilizer shaft bracket mounting bolt and the nut (left hand).
- Remove the stabilizer shaft bracket mounting bolts (right hand).
- Remove the stabilizer shaft brackets.
- Remove the stabilizer shaft insulators from the stabilizer shaft.
- Remove the stabilizer shaft.
- Inspect all of the parts for wear and damage.
