Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement - On Vehicle  .
  2. Roll the shift lever boot back until the shift lever mounting screw is exposed.
  3. Remove the shift lever mounting screw.
  4. Remove the shift lever wiring from the retainer clips and tie strap.
  5. Disconnect the shift lever electrical connector.
  6. Remove the shift lever.
