Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
  2. Remove the steering wheel inflator module. Refer to AIR BAG MODULES .
  3. Remove the horn plunger contact from the steering wheel.
  4. Remove the horn switch to steering wheel mounting screws.
  5. Remove the horn switch.
