Test Description

The numbers listed below refer to step number in the diagnostic procedure:

  1. 4

    This step tests for proper operation of the ISS.

  2. 8

    This step tests for proper ISS circuit operation up to the PCM connections. Remove the fuel solenoid fuse to eliminate a flooding condition during this step.

  3. 10

    This step tests for a short to ground in the ISS circuit.
