Installation Procedure

  1. Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480), or equivalent to the treads of the oil drain and fill plugs.
  2. Install the oil drain plug. Tighten the oil drain plug to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).
  3. Fill the transmission to just below the bottom of the fill plug hole. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install the oil fill plug. Tighten the oil drain plug to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).
  5. Lower the vehicle.
