Installation Procedure

  1. Apply a thin bead of sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the oil drain and fill plug threads.
  2. Install the oil drain plug. Tighten the oil drain plug to 37 N.m (27 lb ft).
  3. Fill the transmission to just below the bottom of the fill plug hole. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install the oil fill plug. Tighten the oil fill plug to 37 N.m (27 lb ft).
  5. Lower the vehicle.
