Removal Procedure

  1. Remove transfer case. Refer to TRANSFER CASE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT NVG 236/246-NP8 (TWO SPEED AUTOMATIC) or TRANSFER CASE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT NVG 261-NP2 (TWO SPEED MANUAL) .
  2. Using J 36825 and J 23907, remove the output shaft seal.
