Exhaust Manifold Removal-Left (C/K/G/C3500HD)

Important: Twist the spark plug boot one-half turn in order to release the boot. Pull on the spark plug boot only. Do not pull on the spark plug wire or the wire could be damaged.

Remove the left spark plug wires from the spark plugs and ignition coils.

Remove the left exhaust manifold heat shield bolts and nuts.
Remove the left exhaust manifold heat shield.

Remove the left exhaust manifold nuts and center bolt.
Remove the left exhaust manifold.
Remove the left exhaust manifold gasket.

Remove the left spark plugs.

Remove the exhaust manifold studs, if necessary.
