Coasting Downshifts

  1. Place the gear shift lever in the Overdrive position.
  2. Accelerate the vehicle to 4th gear with the TCC applied.
  3. Release the throttle and lightly apply the brakes.
  4. Verify the TCC releases and downshifts occur at speeds shown in the shift speed chart. See SHIFT SPEED SPECIFICATIONS  .
