Installation (Bank 1)

  1. Install new fuel rail and bolts. Connect high pressure lines between fuel rail and injectors. Install junction block assembly.
  2. Connect high pressure line to back end of fuel rail. Install line from junction block to injection pump. Install bolts holding air conditioning compressor. Install drive belt. Install water outlet pipe to thermostat housing.
  3. Attach PCV hose and clamp. Install L-bracket holding fuel lines. Connect fuel lines. Install glow plug bracket. Install glow plug relay.
  4. Connect connectors to glow plug relays. Attach turbocharger hose and clamp at intercooler. Install bolt holding positive battery cable junction box and bracket. Replace upper radiator hose and 2 hose clamps.
  5. Connect negative battery cables to both batteries. Replace all hold-down ties. Start engine and check for leaks or noises. After engine warms up, refill coolant reservoir to proper level.
