Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade/Suburban)  or Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper (Avalanche/Escalade EXT)  .
  2. Pull down on the upper corners of the garnish molding in order to disengage the retaining clips.
  3. Pull in order to disengage the remaining retaining clips.
  4. Remove the rear corner garnish molding from the vehicle.
  5. Inspect the rear corner garnish molding for broken or missing retaining clips. Replace the retaining clips as needed.
