Installation Procedure

  1. Install the actuator cable assembly to the latch.
  2. Install the latch assembly.
    3. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Loose assemble the bottom 2 bolts.
    1. Close door to self adjust latch assembly.

      Tighten:  Tighten bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

    2. Open the door.
    3. Install the upper bolt.

      Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Door .
